Macau // New Year of the Horse With No Name.

I like planning. and I don't care how good technology is nowadays, I insist on having a good'ol, tangible, notebook planner.

Seeing as this year is my year, the year of the horse, I went out and treated myself to a special edition feng-shui moleskine planner.

Regretted it later, as the feng-shui predicted a year of hell for me, prone to danger and lots of trouble.

What's so special about this little planner of mine? Well, it "predicts" the year ahead and tells me which days are good, which ones are just plain normal, and which ones are bad, amongst other very useful information, of course (eg:"Should I be facing North while Sleeping?").

This day was considered to be a Good Day.

 It was.

I almost fell into the temptation of getting me a pair of these babies.
Now I'm lost, confused and unable to look cool and stupid at the same time.
Snif.

Sintra // Portugal - Palácio da Pena

In 1809 Lord Byron wrote to his friend Francis Hodgson, "I must just observe that the village of Cintra in Estremadura is the most beautiful in the world."

His fellow countryman Robert Southey followed him and saw it as "the most blessed spot on the whole inhabitable globe."
