Lisbon, I think I like you very much.

Waking up to a rainy Saturday is probably one of the most depressing ways to start your day. Fortunately, a dying hunger to eat local portuguese food made us leave the house faster than you can say "goose". We couldn't figure out how to get to where we had planned to go and ended up near the S. Jorge Castle neighbourhood. Too hungry to find our initially planned destination, and infatuated with this old neighbourhood, we decided to park the car and stay there instead.

Isn't it nice how, sometimes, little hiccups in your day - like getting lost - end up bringing you something even better?

1. To start with, proof that the selfie was invented way before the millenials walked into town. Got to admit these are way better, though.

2.  A short seven minute TEDEd, about the hidden power of smiling

3.  I bet you think that when it comes to Google, you know it all. These tips on how to become a google genius will change your mind.

4. Finally, to remind you of how a "no" is never forever, take a look at these ridiculous rejection letters sent to the likes of U2, Andy Warhol, George Orwell, Vladimir Nabokov and others.
